Financial Freedom
One of the biggest advantages of tiny homes is their affordability. With a smaller footprint and lower construction and maintenance costs, these homes allow you to reduce housing expenses, pay off mortgages faster, and free up funds to invest in experiences, hobbies, or other passions — giving you more control over your lifestyle and financial future.
Flexible Living Space
Tiny Homes offer versatility in terms of usage. From serving as a cozy guest suite for visiting friends and family to functioning as a dedicated workspace for remote professionals, these spaces can adapt to various needs. They can also be transformed into art studios, gyms, or even personal libraries, maximising the utility of your property.
Budget-Friendly Construction
Building a granny flat is often far more cost-effective than constructing a full standalone home. With a smaller footprint, fewer materials, and reduced labour requirements, homeowners can expand their living space without overspending — all while maintaining high-quality construction in a modern, comfortable home.

Sustainable Living
In today’s environmentally conscious world, granny flats offer a smart, sustainable housing solution. Their compact design requires less energy for heating and cooling, helping reduce overall consumption. Many homeowners also choose to add solar panels, energy-efficient appliances, and other eco-friendly upgrades, further lowering their ecological footprint.

Our Expander features refined from real experience
Our relocatable and temporary units are built with high-performance non-EPS, rockwool insulated cool room panels — 50mm thick as standard, or 75mm in the clad, Ironbark model. Unlike many builders, we avoid using EPS (expanded polystyrene) and instead opt for a more sustainable rockwool-filled panel for both walls and ceilings.
This advanced insulation ensures your Every Day Tiny Home remains comfortable year-round — staying cooler in the heat of summer and warmer through the winter chill, no matter the Australian climate.
Because we manufacture our own panels in-house, we maintain strict quality control while also delivering greater value, passing the savings directly to you.
Every Day Tiny Homes are built with roofing designed for strength, protection, and all-weather performance.
The main pod roof is reinforced with a 3mm steel sheet, manufactured in two sections with a gentle slope to ensure efficient water run-off. On each side, the fold-out roofs feature a single-piece fibreglass sheet for seamless coverage and added durability.
Together, the steel and fibreglass provide multiple benefits — they protect the insulated panels from falling branches, add long-term strength, and help reflect heat to keep your tiny home cooler in summer.
This combination of materials means your roof isn’t just a cover — it’s a shield against the harshest Australian conditions.
Every Day Tiny Homes are built with Magnesium Oxide (MgO) board flooring — a sustainable, environmentally friendly material designed to perform in Australian conditions.
MgO board is lightweight yet incredibly strong, semi-flexible, and fully recyclable. It provides exceptional advantages over traditional flooring, including:
· Water-resistant and dimensionally stable, even when wet
· Non-flammable with high fire resistance
· Naturally resistant to mould, mildew, and termites
· Tough and impact resistant for long-lasting durability
By choosing MgO board, we ensure your tiny home or relocatable unit is not only strong and low-maintenance but also a safer and more sustainable choice for modern living.
Every Day Tiny Homes are fitted with 100% aluminium window and sliding door frames, delivering lasting quality and low-maintenance performance.
While some competitors use plastic frames that can weaken, crack, and fade under the Australian sun, aluminium offers far superior durability and weather resistance. It’s strong, lightweight, and built to handle years of exposure without becoming brittle.
Just like every other feature in your tiny home, we choose only high-quality, long-lasting materials — giving you peace of mind that your windows and doors will stand the test of time.
At Every Day Tiny Homes, we go beyond standard construction by incorporating specially engineered Z flashings for superior waterproofing and durability.
When the two side roofs are lifted, a small step forms in the roofline. In certain weather conditions, this can allow water to blow back through the rubber seal. To solve this, we’ve developed custom Z flashings that sit over the seals, providing an extra layer of protection against leaks.
We’ve also designed Z flashings along the base of every wall, ensuring all-round weather resistance and long-term structural integrity. This innovation is just another way we make sure your tiny home is built to handle the toughest Australian conditions.
Every Day Tiny Home expander units are fitted with colour-matched aluminium floor finishing strips, designed to blend seamlessly with your cabin’s flooring.
This small but important detail ensures a clean, professional look while adding durability to high-use areas. It’s just one more way our relocatable homes stand out — combining smart design with high-quality finishes for a home that looks as good as it performs.
